WordPress PHP Developer (Part time)

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop interactive websites using WordPress.
• Maintain and enhance existing client websites, and extend WordPress functionality.
• Work with internal teams to discuss and develop new functionality.
• Improve browser compatibility and quality control.
Education & Experience
• Demonstrated experience in implementing professional, standards-based websites for business.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with team members.
• Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
Requirements, Qualifications & Experience:
• HTML/SASS/CSS/JavaScript (jQuery)
• WordPress (PHP/MySQL/AJAX)
• WordPress (Custom Post Types, Plugins, Theme Development)
• WordPress WooCommerce/e-commerce
• Ability to build/extend custom functionality when needed
• Git/Github experience
• Knowledge of Web Development Standard Practices
• Ability to contribute to multiple projects and work effectively within a cross-departmental team
Bonus Skills (not required/great to have):
• SEO/technical SEO experience
Nice to have (not required):
• Web UX/UI Design experience using Figma/XD/Photoshop
• WordPress REST API experience
• WHM/cPanel experience
• DNS experience
