Email Marketing Specialist (Klaviyo Expert)

We are a DTC brand that sells backpacks online. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality products
and exceptional customer experiences that build loyalty and trust with our customers. As a Marketing
Coordinator (Email), you will be an essential part of our team, responsible for assisting with the
creation of brand assets, videos, photos, and social media content.

We are seeking an experienced Email Marketer to join our marketing operation team to develop
and manage strategies and execute email marketing automation and campaigns. This role
requires somebody that is creative, analytical, self-driven, and detail-oriented. The ideal
candidate loves email marketing and is deeply passionate about improving performance!

Responsibilities:
Retention and Lifecycle Marketing: Develop and execute comprehensive retention and lifecycle marketing strategies, with a primary focus on email and SMS channels.
Email Program Management: Run end-to-end email programs, including campaign planning, execution, and analysis. Ensure all campaigns are aligned with brand messaging and business objectives. Oversee deliverability and ensure that the emails are compliant and always inboxing properly.
Copywriting: Demonstrate strong copywriting skills to craft compelling and engaging content for email and SMS campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
Klaviyo Expertise: Leverage a deep understanding of Klaviyo to optimize email campaigns, segmentation, and automation workflows.
Analytics and Optimization: Utilize data-driven insights to analyze campaign performance and optimize strategies for improved retention and customer lifecycle value.
Agency or Ecommerce Experience: If applicable, bring valuable insights and experience from working in an agency or ecommerce setting.
Flexible: Ability to help with any other marketing needs and wear multiple hats in a small fast growing company. Have a “can do” attitude and be flexible in your responsibilities.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in email marketing, with a focus on retention and lifecycle marketing.
Strong copywriting skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audience segments.
Expertise in Klaviyo, Adobe, and Canva.
Previous experience in an agency or ecommerce setting is preferred.
