Full-Time YouTube Video Editor for a Tesla Channel

Looking for a highly experienced video editor for a new and exciting channel I will be starting related to Tesla, Tesla accessories, lifestyle products, product reviews, and tutorials.

Immediate start to prepare the launch of the channel in 2024!

You will typically edit 1-2 videos per week. You will be editing normal YouTube videos, not YouTube Shorts just yet. This is a full-time role with competitive and generous rates.

The following skills are required:

- Experienced in editing YouTube videos and understand how YouTube viewers watch.
- Ability to edit in a punctual and timely manner.
- Creativity in making a dull video into an impactful video that makes viewers keep watching.
- Ability to incorporate effects, text overlays, transitions, plugins, etc
- A good understanding of color grading.
- Your choice of video editing software - Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro.
- Ability to edit 4K resolution videos as I recorded in that format on my iPhone.
- Ability to process audio to optimal levels.
- Have clear communication so if for example you are not able to fulfil today, you will inform as soon as possible.
- Ability to work and follow my project management tool to organize the content schedule. I use Notion to organise my content calendar.
- Must be dedicated during the hours of your employment. For you info, you will be working Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
- Option but a plus: Ability to make captivating YouTube thumbnails.

Successful applicant may also be required to work on my primary YouTube educational based channel with over 400,000 subscribers editing screen tutorial videos.

I am based in Australia so the time differences work very well for the Philippines - Australia.

In order to meet the requirements of this role, you will be asked to do a sample edit of a short video. If you aren't able to do this, please do not apply.

* Salary will be based on level of experience.
* I'm aware there will be a holiday period during Christmas and New Year so I will be taking that into account with salaries and workload. But for now, I can at least provide training and get a couple of videos edited.
