WordPress Developer

The WordPress Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. This role plays a critical part in our web development projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding online solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet design and functionality requirements.
Must have the ability to create custom sites from Adobe XD using Divi and posses excellent CSS skills.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to web standards and best practices.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Ensure responsive design and seamless user experiences across various devices.
Stay updated with WordPress updates, plugins, and industry trends.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for WordPress websites.
Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and other team members.
Maintain code versioning and comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in WordPress development, including theme and plugin development, and experience using current page builders such as Divi, Oxygen and Elementor.
Must have very high level skills in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience utilizing Figma to create wireframe designs.
Mastery of migrating sites from development hosting accounts to production.
Experience setting up forms, web hooks, and funnels is a plus.
Work Hours:
Flexible work hours, ideally 4-8 hours per day or 20-40 hours per week, to accommodate varying workload demands.
Work Environment:
Access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection.
A laptop with at least Windows 10.
Pay and Benefits: Compensation is negotiable based on experience and qualifications and will range from $6.00 US per hour to $12 US per hour.
