The Job:
We are looking for an experienced video editor who can develop templates, optimize editing workflows, and establish a consistent style for our company’s work. Some of our projects are handled by part-timers, and as a Senior Editor you will serve as a resource for them on editing procedures, brand guidelines, and best practices, in addition to doing your own edits.
Video editing has the potential to grow faster than the rest of our company, which is growing at 20% per year. This job could become managerial as the division grows.
The best candidate will have experience editing fast on tight deadlines, and will enjoy setting standards & procedures for a department, thinking about project management and workflows.
We expect the right candidate will have 5+ years of experience with video editing.

**Key Responsibilities:**
Edit videos for organizations based in Atlanta, GA
Manage part-time video editors, graphic designers, animators, audio engineers, and writers to bring projects to completion, as needed
Coordinate with onsite production teams in Atlanta, USA
Use a project management system
Maintain project calendar
Email with our customers to confirm their needs and get their feedback
Achieve KPIs established by management (turn-around time for videos, % videos requiring revisions, etc)
Meet weekly with General Manager
Meet weekly with exec team
Assist General Manager in planning for growth in Video Editing Department
Implement & optimize standard processes for video editing and other services
Ensure projects are properly billed to the customer (communicating with our Finance team)
Manage our archive of footage and past projects
Maintain a list of skilled contractors who can execute our post-production needs
**Requirements:**
- English skills must be enough to conduct a business meeting about video production
- Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite
- Ability to read and revise storyboards
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
**Compensation:**
Pay will be bi-weekly in PHP thru . Benefits will be set up by our finance department (they are based in Cebu).
