Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: 26 July 2026.

The short version

iwork.ph is free to read and is funded by advertising and affiliate commissions. When you buy something through a link on this site, we may earn a commission. You never pay more— the commission comes out of the retailer's margin.

Which links are affiliate links

Product buy buttons and retailer links in our buying guides are generally affiliate links. They carry a rel="sponsored" attribute, which is how search engines identify them. Links to our own pages, to manufacturer documentation and to reference sources are not affiliate links.

Programmes we participate in

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. We also participate in retailer programmes serving the Philippines, including Shopee and Lazada.

How this affects our recommendations

It does not change what we recommend. We do not rank by commission rate, and we routinely recommend the cheapest option that does the job — including telling readers not to buy at all when their current machine is good enough. Where a product has real drawbacks, we list them.

If we ever cannot recommend anything honestly in a category, we say so rather than pad the page with links.

Advertising

We also display ads through Google AdSense. Advertisers have no input into our editorial content and cannot buy a recommendation.
